Alright! The big weekend is here, and its time to celebrate romance, love and all things Valentines. For those who find themselves to be Valentine’s challenged *(yes, that includes me), Laurie Lyons from Austin.com has a fun list of things to do this Valentine’s weekend.
Some of Laurie’s suggestions a visit to the Austin Pets Alive! adoption site on South Congress between noon and four for the Sweet Barks Event. You’ll be able to bring some canine love into your life by adopting a dog. Or just share the love, buy a raffle ticket, and enjoy music from Little Mikey and the Soda Jerks, Niel Nasset, and JJ Usher. The proceeds will help pay the cost of providing medical care for the animals.
Sunday night, enjoy dinner and a movie with your loved one at one of the three Alamo Drafthouse theaters. Enjoy a five course meal and “Charade” at the South Lamar location at 7pm, or “Amalie” at the Village. “Gone With the Wind” starts rolling at 6pm at the Ritz.
And for those of you who aren’t going to be celebrating this weekend, you might want to check out the I Hate Valentines Day Party at District 301 on West 6th Street. DJ Jericho One will be spinning to keep you dancing all night long.
Check out Laurie’s article for a complete list of events throughout the weekend!

Hey! Happy Valentines Day everyone… Wish you all to have a very sweet moment with your loved ones.
